Rooted In Justice, Growing for Change
The Bay Area Teach-In for Justice, abbreviated BATJ, is a youth-led social justice conference that explores internationally relevant and Bay Area centered social justice issues. The conference features two key-note speakers and a variety of breakout sessions, all centered around topics relating to our central theme of intersectionality: Rooted in Justice, Growing for Change. The BATJ will discuss minority justice, environmental justice, and the laws and policies implemented to tackle these issues.
Our vision for the day is to gather youth to engage in meaningful discussion regarding social justice issues, so that they are well-informed and empowered to enact change on a worldly scale.
